Every two weeks, James posted a song from ''Turning the Mind'' onto his MySpace page. On August 11, the track "Nothing" was uploaded to YouTube accompanied by an unofficial music video. ''Turning the Mind'' was released on September 28 in Europe and October 20 in North America.
